We are a municipal pump distributor located in Alvarado, TX (just south of DFW) with a focus on water and wastewater pump applications – lift stations, booster stations, and treatment plants. We work directly with cities and engineering firms on both small and large municipal projects during the design phase and then ultimately sell to general contractors and cities during the bid & installation phase. The municipal industry is an exciting, niche industry that can be highly lucrative for a driven individual. The municipal industry is also very stable, unlike some other industries. We are looking for an all-star individual that is self-motivated and has a highly competitive drive. We are a small, but fast growing company looking where someone will be able to make an immediate impact.

Our Project Application Engineer will be the technical expert responsible for providing comprehensive support to customers in selecting and applying the appropriate pump solutions for their specific requirements. You will work closely with both internal teams and external customers to understand application needs, recommend suitable products, and ensure successful implementation. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency, customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with sales representatives, customers, and engineering teams to understand project requirements and application needs.
  2. Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies to determine the most suitable pump solutions for various applications.
  3. Provide product recommendations and technical guidance to customers, including pump selection, sizing, and specification.
  4. Assist customers in interpreting technical specifications, drawings, and other documentation related to water pump systems.
  5. Develop customized solutions and proposals to meet specific customer requirements, considering factors such as performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  6. Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for customers and internal teams to showcase the features and benefits of our pump products.
  7. Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to stay updated on new product developments, technical advancements, and industry trends.
  8. Support customers throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to post-sales support, ensuring a positive experience and timely resolution of any technical issues or concerns.
