Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as an Outside Sales Representative to promote and sell the products we represent in the electrical utility industry. In this role, you will be responsible for building and fostering relationships with specific accounts, generating new business opportunities, and promoting products and services to customers in the utility sector.
Responsibilities:
- Build and foster relationships with a set customer base and key distribution partners
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Conduct sales and product demonstrations to potential customers
- Collaborate with internal teams and manufacturers to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote products and services
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required

Experience
- Previous outside sales experience, preferably in the electrical utility industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of electrical utility products and services is a plus
- Willingness to travel weekly within assigned territory
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Distribution, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field
