Job Description

We have a broad spectrum of customers over various industries. We are seeking a candidate to fill a Customer Service Sales Support position in our Northwest Houston location.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers and outside sales with pricing and delivery information when required
- Entering part numbers and quotes and orders into the computer system
- Looking up order status and informing customers of shipments
- Following up on open quotes and orders with customers and suppliers
- Offering competitive interchange from other manufacturers to products we represent
- Entering potential customers and projects into the CRM database
- Building hose assembly and kits bill of materials based on customer specifications
- Provide application and product support to customers and outside sales
- Assist the customers and outside sales team with technical questions
- Review and approve product applications
- Review incoming orders for proper product selection and application.
- Occasional field visits with outside sales team to increase application knowledge
- Build/develop customer relationships
- Support outside sales with lead qualification/follow-up as needed
- Provide sales support as needed
Experience
- Strong professional sales, customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to recognize sales opportunities beyond the customer’s perceived needs or requirements
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with customers
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents and specifications
- Ability to write and communicate effective business correspondence to sales team and customers
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from sales team and customers
- Technical aptitude
- Previous inside sales experience
Education
- 4 year college degree or technical degree preferred
- Technical sales experience preferred or a minimum of 3 years in customer service environment
- Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Experience with P21 ERP is preferred
