Job Description
The TMS South Branch Manager has oversight of all branch departments and functions at their location. They also work in cooperation with corporate personnel, specifically HR, Graphics, Management, and Sales. The Branch Manager is responsible for revenue generated through Counter Sales as well as supply chain for their location. Oversight should be conducted with an emphasis on service orientation- how we can better help our customers. The ideal candidate will have a background in distribution with interest in improving sales and customer experience using technology.
- Review financial statements, sales or activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.
- Direct and coordinate activities of branch departments including customer service, warehouse, and counter sales with a major emphasis on service orientation and quality control.
- Work with the Corporate HR Department to review job descriptions, tasks, pay rates, etc. and reassign/redistribute tasks as needed.
- Direct and coordinate purchasing activities for Greenville Branch specifically the purchasing of special order/non stock items. Review suppliers to ensure they are efficiently and effectively meeting the needs of TMS South, Inc.
- Direct or coordinate financial or budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency.
- Perform personnel functions such as selection, training, evaluation, discipline, and terminations.
- Plan or direct activities such as sales promotions that require coordination with other department managers.
- Set prices or credit terms for goods or services based on forecasts of customer demand.
- Oversee the supply chain of plumbing products to Greenville Branch customers from purchasing to billing.
- Perform sales floor work, such as greeting or assisting customers, stocking shelves, or taking inventory.
- Develop or implement product-marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns or sales promotions.
- Represent TMS South within San Antonio Community and work to build positive public image of company brand.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience
Experience in Distribution Industry preferably prior supply chain experience with emphasis on process improvement by ensuring quality control throughout the supply chain.
Education
- Bachelors Degree in Management/Business Administration with 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, or 7-10 years of experience in Management Role in lieu of bachelors’ degree.
